About The Position
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to join our journey and lead our Salesforce practice in North America!
The General Manager will lead the overall Sales and Delivery teams achieving maximum sales and profitability growth, while ensuring successful client projects, and overseeing the P&L of the North American territory.
The role requires you to promote, sell and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. You must attract customers and persuade them to invest in Asperii services while continuing to maintain their wellbeing for the long-term.
The role combines both go to market and delivery responsibilities; You will have the opportunity to manage relationships with clients & partners, lead a team of highly qualified professionals, oversee budgets, identify/mitigate project risks, and resolve client issues. Through the development of processes and standards, you will be responsible for improving our regional service delivery.
Responsibilities
Sales:
• Responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy and marketing plan in North America
• Manage and oversee the sales team in the North America Region, as well as hands-on direct sales responsibilities
• Target new business, both directly and indirectly, and nurture the relationship with existing customer accounts and monitor and record all sales related activity to each account or prospect
• Develop an effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective clients
• Work with the internals teams to deliver presentations, ensuring proposed solutions meet customer needs.
• Own the full quota for the North America Region
• Own the relationship with Salesforce in North America
Professional Services:
• Ensure the success of all aspects of our projects including deployments, performance, profitability, and customers satisfaction
• Manage the consultants in North American and aligned resources in global delivery
• Monitor and execute hiring, training & development plan for employees, ensure the region readiness for future projects and activities, and coordinate with professional managers
• Work collaboratively with support staff (Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, and other Corporate services staff)
• Be the executive eyes and ears of the region; collaborate with the senior leadership team to grow the region
• Perform work within an established time frame and ensure that work is done in conformance with quality work standards, projected person-hours, and regulatory compliance requirements
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a team-leading role with direct responsibility for managing the activities (task assignments, budgets, schedules, etc.) of 10 or more team members
• 5+ years of experience selling Salesforce solutions, including licenses and professional services and ownership of territory sales revenue.
• Experience with business application in a complex selling environment selling directly and through several strategic partners
• Proven ability to build a strategic and concise territory plan and execute according to plan
• Strong business understanding background
• Prior experience should include some technical skills such as customer software development, systems integration, software quality assurance, product development or similar
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with co-workers and customers
• Experience managing full life cycle solution delivery projects, including risk management and budget management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• B.S./M.S in applicable field or equivalent
• Dynamic, self-motivated, creative thinker with an appreciation of corporate goals
• Willingness to travel, approximately 30%
